ESTImATe  will be held on 6th April 2016, in conjunction with ESSoS 16, in Royal Holloway, University of London.

ESTImATe will bring together practitioners and researchers interested in security management practices to defend critical infrastructures and in the evaluation of their effectiveness. ESTImATe will be run as a one-day workshop, consisting of invited talks, paper presentations, and discussions towards the state of art on security risk management practices and the evaluation of their effectiveness in defending organizations’ critical infrastructures against cyber security threats.

The workshop is sponsored by SESAR JU WPE call for tender EMFASE (Empirical Framework for Security Design and Economic Trade-Off).

Topics of interests include (but are not limited to) the following subject categories

  • Empirical evaluations of security risk assessment methods
  • Empirical evaluations of security visualization
  • Empirical frameworks to assess the effectiveness of security methods
  • New visualisations for security threats
  • New cyber security risk assessment methods
  • Challenges of security assessment in critical infrastructures

Authors are invited to submit Research Papers (8 pages) or Position Papers (2 pages).

Submission

Accepted papers will be published as CEUR Workshop Proceedings.
